2017 Knowledge Communities Online Publication
I am pleased to share with you the 2017 Knowledge Communities Online Publication! This publication represents one of the many ways the NASPA KCs create and share knowledge to support our association's strategic plan and the professional development of our membership.
The Knowledge Communities provide timely, thought-provoking articles that support the 2017 NASPA Annual Conference and the NASPA Guiding Principles of Integrity, Inclusion, Inquiry, and Innovation by highlighting promising practices, current research, and emerging trends in student affairs.
The articles advance the professional competency areas for student affairs professionals. These competencies were included to support your own professional growth and to serve as an important reminder of the broad professional knowledge and skills expected of student affairs professionals.
I would like to extend my gratitude to the KC Publication Committee, under the leadership of committee chair, Valerie Shepard. My thanks go to the committee members for their tremendous support of our publication and its editorial process.
The NASPA KC Publication has become a hallmark of the Knowledge Community program. I hope that you find that the articles stimulate your own learning and development, and I encourage you to share the link with other colleagues.
