Cultivating a New Crop is not only the theme for the Region IV-W conference, but a reflection of the region as we work to grow professionals. This year’s conference will focus on how we come together to cultivate an environment for all to grow. You will find Lincoln full of local treasures, great restaurants, and a great place to explore!


Conference Committee Internships

The NASPA Region IV-West Conference Planning Committee is seeking two interns to support conference committee members during the Annual Regional Conference to occur November 6-9 in St. Lincoln, Nebraska.

The intern must be a NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program participant or graduate student within Region IV-West area at the time of the conference and be available to attend the conference. Although attendance at educational sessions may be limited, interns will gain in-depth exposure to the execution of a large regional conference. Click here to learn more.

    A Comprehensive Strategy to Support First-Generation College Students

    This pre-conference workshop will be useful for multiple audiences and functional areas as a comprehensive approach will be identified related to the orientation and onboarding of first-generation college students, financial literacy initiatives to support this student population, and strategies to engage the parents and family members of first-generation college students. Cost: $30.

    Region IV-W NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program (NUFP) Institute

    This exciting pre-conference will be a meaningful opportunity for current NASPA Undergraduate Fellows to meet other NUFP Fellows from across the Region IV-W. Institute participants will build confidence in their networking skills, identify and explore personal, academic and professional goals, develop a deeper understanding of the importance cultural competency has within the student affairs profession, and learn ways to maximize and strengthen mentoring relationships. Registration is limited to current Region IV-W NUFP Fellows. Cost: Free to current Region IV-W NUFP Fellows. Registration required.
