The AZ NASPA Drive-In Conference Committee invites you to join us at the Arizona State University’s West Campus in October 2019 to reflect our collective and individual goals, passions, and purposes within both NASPA and student affairs.
AZ NASPA and the Conference Committee would like our programs and our conference experience to focus on the many reasons that we attend the AZ NASPA Drive-In conference. These include our personal and professional development, networking, learning, and connecting with colleagues.
This year’s theme of Creating Connections: Bridging Arizona Together is an opportunity to highlight the work you do as student affairs professionals within the state of Arizona to build connections in unique and innovative ways. We would like to invite you to prepare and submit a 50 minute workshop proposal, on your own or with a colleague(s).
Here are a few workshop ideas to embrace this year’s conference theme:
We encourage proposals to focus on the Regional needs and innovation within Arizona Student Affairs as well as meeting the Vision, Mission, and Principles of NASPA, and the Professional Competency Areas of Student Affairs Educators.
Additionally, please consider leading a roundtable discussion surrounding the theme with a critical issue for the state of Arizona.
Looking for tips on writing an effective NASPA proposal? See sample submissions and formatting tips in our Program Submission Guidelines.
Please contact NASPA if you have any further questions about submitting a program proposal for the 2019 Arizona NASPA Drive-In Conference - Creating Connections: Bridging Arizona Together.

ASU's campuses are unified as a single institution, and so the West campus shares students, faculty, administration, and accreditation with the other campuses. Located in northwest Phoenix, the West campus is home to students pursuing degrees in business, education, and interdisciplinary arts and science programs. Patterned after the University of Oxford, the campus architecture is designed to create a close-knit learning community. CLICK HERE to view our interactive campus map.
