Your guide to the 2018 Regional Conference is officially live! The guide has all of the information you need for a successful conference. To download the guidebook on your mobile device, go to your App Store (IPhone) or Google Play Store (Android) and download the NASPA Mobile App (NOT the “Guidebook” App). Once downloaded, click on the magnifying glass on the screen and search “2018 NASPA Region II Conference.” Select the guide from the search list, then click “Download Guide.” We will continue to make updates and add new information throughout the conference. You may also view the guide online, here.

Join us as NASPA Region II returns to New York City! Be a part of something great, as we share innovative ideas, explore new topics in student affairs, and develop professional connections at the annual NASPA Region II Conference. This professional experience will give student affairs professionals the opportunity to strengthen skills, acquire knowledge, and develop meaningful connections with peers and colleagues.

Come join your Region II colleagues to celebrate the commencement of the Annual Region II Conference! We will be at B Bar and Grill which is less than a ten minute walk from NYU. A glass of champagne, one drink ticket, and appetizers will be provided. B Bar is a super a fun space and we will have access to the lounge, patio, and bar area. See you there!

Join your NASPA II colleagues at South Street Seaport Pier 16 and the historic, recently restored, 19th century cargo ship, Wavertree, the flag ship of the Seaport Museum’s fleet. Celebrate the 2018 NASPA Region II Annual Conference as well as NASPA's yearlong centennial celebration. Just minutes away from One World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan, enjoy the unparalleled views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline. There will be drink tickets for the reception and NASPA will provide delicious avocado and sliders bars, as well as local music. Want to see more of the local area or the City? Visit the Bowne Print Shops, the Street of Ships, the Seaport’s fleet of five historic vessels, or sail New York Harbor.

Graduate Student Scholarship Opportunity

The Region 2 NASPA Advisory Board has graciously agreed to support the attendance of graduate students in the vein of paying registration costs for graduate students to attend the NASPA Region 2 Conference in NYC in June 2018. Learn more about the scholarship here!

Resilience is more than just managing stress, it’s learning the skills to take life events in stride and to grow and learn from our experiences. Healing and strengthening, Resilience offer participants the space and time to begin to focus on how their lives impact their ability to lead, and the tools they need to strengthen their awareness day to day. LeaderShape’s newest program, Resilience, is a 1-day experience for student affairs professionals based on the research of Dr. Amit Sood that explores resilient leadership and how it builds strong, flexible relationships and communities.
