RPI Reports & Issues Briefs
NASPA Research & Policy Institute Research & Reports
One of the primary purposes of the RPI is to conduct research and analysis geared toward practitioner, policymaker, and scholarly audiences. Every year, the RPI produces a number of professional reports and issue briefs that explore a variety of higher education related topics of importance to student affairs professionals and postsecondary decisionmakers. Publications such as the 5 Things Issue Brief Series and Legal Links are designed to provide leaders in higher education with actionable knowledge drawn from today's top scholars. Other reports or policy memos focus on critical public policy questions, specific student populations, or investigate some aspect of student affairs as a profession.
Spotlight on Title IX and Sexual Assault
In the most recent issue of Legal Links, authors review and discuss several critical areas covered by the most recent 2014 U.S. Office of Civil Rights Guidance relating to Title IX and sexual assault. The areas covered review and expand on existing compliance requirements, as well as cover new issues of critical importance to student affairs practitioners.
